Intelligent Tutor using Student Collaboration

A small study at Carnegie Mellon University was looking at how collaboration between students could improve the effectiveness of an Intelligent Tutoring System that taught fractions to elementary and middle school students. I produced presentations that researchers could make to explain the research and the software to teachers and administrators as part of inviting them to become involved in the study. This focused on a behind-the-scenes look at how the software intelligently responds to an individual student’s actions to teach directly to their misconceptions.
